Why you'll love it Descaler takes care of limescale; OXIGENT 2 takes care of the other half. Every coffee leaves a little oil and residue behind, and over time it settles in the nozzles and filters — the machine starts working badly and the espresso picks up a stale, bitter edge. This active-oxygen powder lifts those oils and residues out. It suits every type of coffee machine — espresso, manual and automatic, pod and capsule — and also cleans the parts you take off: portafilters, filters, grilles and drip trays. How to use — inside the machine Empty one sachet into a container (or straight into the water tank) and add at least 500 ml of drinking water — warm water dissolves it faster. Once the powder has fully dissolved, pour the solution into the tank, switch on and run it through until it's gone. Rinse with drinking water until there's no dirt or product left — at least 2 cycles. How to use — removable parts Dissolve a sachet in a bowl of hot water and soak the portafilter, filters, grilles or drip tray for a few minutes. Wipe the dirt off with a sponge and rinse well.
