About Orbital Logic Chess

Chess on a circular board — orbital rings, new strategy Orbital Logic Chess is a 2-player strategy game played on a circular board with concentric rings instead of squares. Pieces move along the rings, capture by landing on opponent stones, and a win comes from controlling the inner orbit. Familiar enough that a checkers-player picks it up in five minutes, different enough that nobody dominates from prior chess habits. It's a clean middle ground: more thinking than checkers, less daunting than full chess. How it plays Each player starts with eight stones on the outer ring. On your turn, you slide one stone along a ring or jump it inward toward the center. Land on an opponent stone and you capture it. The first player to land three of their stones on the innermost orbit wins the round — or strip the opponent below three total stones to win by attrition. Two ways to win means two ways to play. Aggressive captures, or a slow march to the center. What's in the box Circular board with three concentric orbital rings 8 light stones and 8 dark stones Quick rules card with three opening setups Why this game is a good fit For young kids (4 to 6): the visuals are inviting and a casual capture
